BALLONI Hallen presents the premiere of the film essay Anna & Bernhard Blume – Komplizenschaft (A = B).
Produced in connection with the major exhibition of Anna & Bernhard Blume at Kunsthalle Krems in 2024/2025, the film brings together reflections by Bazon Brock and Wilhelm Blume and offers a personal perspective on the artists’ work.
The photographs of the late Anna & Bernhard Blume, created together from the 1980s onwards, turn the seemingly orderly world of the post-war bourgeois home upside down. Everyday objects escape their control, rooms become stages, and the familiar suddenly takes on an absurd and uncanny life of its own.
Bazon Brock will be present. Following the screening, the evening will continue with a conversation. Due to limited capacity, advance registration is required.
