Permanent Sculpture, Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders-Haus, Berlin
Tony Cragg's monumental sculpture Werdendes was installed in 2020 on the city loggia of the Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders House of the German Bundestag in Berlin. The six-meter-high bronze spirals upward like a column, symbolizing a continuous process of becoming and transformation.
In 2018, the Art Advisory Board of the German Bundestag decided to commission Tony Cragg to create this sculpture. Designed specifically for this location, it marks the conclusion of the "Band des Bundes" and also serves as a welcoming feature at the entrance to the future event hall in the Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders House.
