The Runner sculptures have become a very important series in Tony Cragg’s recent oeuvre. The sculptures are based on outline drawings of human faces and evoke two moving bodies in space. Works from this series were in recent years exhibited at the Louvre Paris, the Madison Square Park New York and Yorkshire Sculpture Park amongst others.
